KUALA LUMPUR, December 6 – The problems of smuggling alcohol and cigarettes, which are said to have contributed to the loss of national income, are among the highlights of Dewan Rakyat’s session today.

According to the Order Paper, Nga Kor Ming (PH-Teluk Intan) will ask the Minister of Finance to indicate the total amount of losses incurred by the country due to the illegal smuggling of alcohol and cigarettes and the measures taken by the government to face the question.

There will also be a question from Che Alias ​​Hamid (PAS-Kemaman) to the Minister of Women, Family and Community Development on the ministry’s plans to help meet the needs of the Syaria legal services for mothers. disadvantaged singles.

Meanwhile, Datuk Dr Shahruddin Md Salleh (Pejuang-Sri Gading) will question the Minister of Higher Education on initiatives to prevent low benefit payments to university students undergoing industrial training.

Datuk Shabudin Yahaya (Bersatu-Tasek Gelugor), on the other hand, is expected to request the Minister of Agriculture and Food Industries to indicate the measures taken to overcome the problem of acquiring padi land as industrial and residential sites.
