OKC police release sketch of suspect accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting 2 teenage girls

Oklahoma City Police released a sketch of a man accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting two teenage girls last week. In both cases, police said the suspect drove the girls to a different location before sexually assaulting them. A police report says that a person reported on Aug. 17 that he was walking Northwest 10th Street when a man arrived in a van and asked if he wanted a ride. She said yes and got into the front passenger seat. During the ride, the suspect told the victim he had to smoke a cigarette and turned onto a gravel road on the west side of the entrance to the Oklahoma Fairgrounds, according to the report. The suspect allegedly tried to fiddle with the young girl before offering her money to commit a sexual act. She told the suspect that she hadn’t done that sort of thing and that she wanted to be dropped off at a church. The report says the suspect took her to church, dropped her off in the parking lot and told her he would be back. Also on August 17, police responded to the Embark bus terminal on Northwest Fifth Street regarding a kidnapping call. The girl told the officer she was in her final year at a local high school where officials said there was a fear of COVID-19 and told the students to go home. She said she was walking from school to the bus station when a white van pulled up. The police report said the driver allegedly opened the door, grabbed her by the handle of her backpack and pulled her inside. The suspect then allegedly groped the teenager and asked her inappropriate questions before she finally jumped out of the moving van when he slowed down and fled, according to the report. The police report says the girl stayed in the truck for about four to five minutes. In addition to a composite sketch, police released surveillance footage of his truck. Police said the suspect had white hair and a white goatee, and was possibly in his late 50s or early 60s. The pickup truck is a White Ford F-150 FX4 Oklahoma Edition that is a 2016 or newer model. The truck has a distinctive double-panel sunroof, a black grille with a brush guard and aftermarket wheels, according to police. Anyone with information on the identity of the man is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300 or tip online.
